Opt for a dry white wine like sauvignon blanc, albarino, or pinot grigio. Apple brandy is a must!! It's the secret ingredient that makes this cocktail SO good. Use unsweetened apple cider - pre-sweetened cider is too sweet. Chill at least 4 hours, but overnight is better to allow the flavors to blend.
