GLAZED CARROTS

SUPER EASY

For perfect, restaurant quality glazed carrots, add just a bit of thickener to the cooking liquid. Vigorously boil in the last 5 minutes for a rich glaze!

- sliced whole carrots or baby carrots - water or broth - cornstarch or arrowroot powder - unsalted butter - honey, maple syrup, or brown sugar - kosher salt - ground pepper - chopped fresh parsley

INGREDIENTS

Peel carrots, then slice at an angle into 1/2" coins. Place in a saucepot.

Whisk cornstarch into water, then pour over the carrots.

Add butter, honey, and a pinch of salt.

Simmer 15 minutes, then boil 5 minutes to thicken the glaze.

Garnish with parsley and lots of ground pepper. Serve immediately.
