Make the dry rub. Mix all ingredients in a small bowl until evenly combined.
Pat chicken dry, then rub with 1 tablespoon olive oil.
Sprinkle drumsticks with dry rub, then gently work into the skin.
Arrange in the basket of your air fryer in a single, even layer, leaving a bit of space in between each piece.
Cook at 400°F for 15-18 minutes, or until internal temp is 165°F. Flip once halfway through.
